Light a Candle
Christopher Michael McGrath “Bear”, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2021. When he left us he was surrounded by family. He was 38. Bear was born to Jeff and Sherry McGrath on September 16, 1982. He grew up in Sharonville, Ohio, and graduated from Princeton High School in 2001. Bear was the owner of McGrath Logistics in Huntsville, Alabama. He married his one true love, Marie, in 2006. He is also survived by his five daughters, Caity Fitzgerald, Riley McGrath, Raegan McGrath, Ryann McGrath, and Ravyn McGrath; his sister Jaime (Kevin) Simonson and brothers Matthew (Chelsea) McGrath, Nick (Brandy) McGrath, Ben (Kristin) McGrath, and Patrick McGrath. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Dick and Judy Sunderman; and his paternal grandparents Ray and Barb McGrath; and is survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. A visitation for Bear is planned for Saturday, June 26, 2021, from 1 pm to 3 pm. The visitation will be held at the Springdale Nazarene Church on 11177 Springfield Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio. All are invited to attend. The funeral will follow immediately at 3 pm. Should friends desire, contributions may be made to the Bear McGrath Memorial Fund at any Fifth Third Bank Location.
